Mangusta GranSport 45

A Twist on Tradition
Family-owned Italian builder Mangusta has earned a reputation for creating exceptionally fast superyachts, and the Mangusta GranSport 45 continues this tradition, but with a twist. At nearly 149 feet, it’s capable of reaching a maximum speed of 26 knots while also boasting transatlantic range—specifically, 3,500 nautical miles at 11 knots. This is thanks to its  fast-displacement hull, which is designed for better performance and fuel efficiency through the full speed range. Add these superior accomplishments to the yacht’s stylish exteriors and fully customizable interiors, and you’ve got one enviable combination. mangustayachts.com

Westport 52M

Flexing its Muscles
Since 2006, the largest semi-custom model from Washington state’s Westport Yachts has been the 165-foot Westport 50M. It’s a popular choice, but it lacks some amenities that big yacht buyers want. Enter the Westport 52M, a 172-footer that not only has a beach club, but also three opening platforms to make the area extra-spacious and flexible. Speaking of flexible, sliding panels in the VIP suite can convert it into an even larger room with a private salon. Finally, 52M’s 5,000-nautical-mile range at 10 knots puts the most far-flung destinations within reach. westportyachts.com

Pearl of the Seas
In January, after two years in development, Pearl Yachts debuted the Pearl 62, the British builder’s first model to have a flying bridge. Strikingly contemporary, the motor yacht is a collaboration between naval architect Bill Dixon and interior designer Kelly Hoppen, featuring extra-large panes of glass along the main deck that create a brighter interior. The galley sits just inside the doors to the aft deck, with a slide-away window that creates a more relaxed, indoor-outdoor look and feel. You’ll probably want to spend most of your time on the aforementioned flying bridge, where you’ll find a barbecue and fully equipped bar ideal for alfresco dining day or night. pearlyachts.com
