Publisher’s Pick: Doma Polo

Located in the heart of downtown Miami, Doma Polo serves up authentic Argentinean food and culture. Paying homage to the 2,000-year-old celebrated sport of polo, the walls are adorned with game rules and memorabilia and the menu offers a wide variety of fresh Argentinean cuisine plus cutting-edge cocktails and a collection of more than 4,000 wines available by the bottle or glass.

Guests can enjoy traditional items like the Picada de Parrilla, a sampling of blood sausage, Argentinean chorizo, golden sweet breads, “chinchulines,” beef and chicken empanadas serviced with chimichurri and salsa criolla. The menu also offers several meat dishes, an Argentinean staple, such as the Lomo a la Parrilla, a 10 oz. grilled center cut beef tenderloin over truffle mashed potatoes, caramelized pearl onions, watercress and Malbec demi-glace sauce; or the Ojo de Bife a la Parrilla, a 14 oz. grilled rib-eye served with mashed potatoes, sautéed chard and chimichurri sauce.

Domo Polo is located at 900 Biscayne Blvd. in Miami and is open for lunch and dinner Monday– Friday from noon to midnight and Saturday and Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to midnight.
