Say hello to an all-new Dawn — a sumptuous and eye-catching convertible from Rolls-Royce. The stylish, two-door drop top has a striking build and will ferry four people around town in luxurious splendor. Like the Rolls-Royce Wraith, it has suicide doors that open and close at the touch of a button and a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament that’s available in four optional finishes: solid silver, gold-plated, illuminated and up-lit.
Beneath its sleek and massive bonnet you will find a 6.6-liter, twin-turbo V-12 engine. The eight-speed automatic, rear-wheel-drive drophead weighs 5,644 pounds, yet can spirit its driver and passengers from 0-60 mph in a mere 4.9 seconds. The Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn of the last mid-century was the muse and inspiration for this Dawn, which was also handcrafted in Goodwood, England.
Dawn is the quietest convertible available thanks to windscreens and higher belt lines that keep passengers as snug as a turtleneck sweater. Plus, it only takes 22 seconds to go completely topless, at speeds up to 37 mph. The brilliant motorcar is available in wonderful colors like midnight sapphire with mandarin leather interior, or you can create your own unique configuration on the company’s website.
Aside from all the luxury one would expect from Rolls, Dawn also uses GPS data to see beyond what you see and anticipate your next move, based on your location and driving style. Dawn, it seems, can read your mind.
