Robert Rauschenberg: Five Decades from the Whitney’s Collection

March 1 - June 28

Norton Museum of Art showcases major works by Robert Rauschenberg, the prolific painter and graphic artist whose inventiveness, embrace of pop culture and incorporation of everyday objects forever changed the American art landscape. The exhibition’s pieces were borrowed from the Whitney Museum of American Art and reveal the artist’s evolving fascination with materiality, technology and manufacturing.
