Alice Rahon: Poetic Invocations

A Mirror Maze: Numbers in Nature

Created by the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, this new exhibition at the Frost Museum of Science exposes and explains the mathematical patterns that abound in the natural world. From the nested spirals of a sunflower’s seeds to the ridges of a majestic mountain range, each provides a rare perspective of our daily surroundings. Adults and children alike will enjoy getting lost in the centerpiece of this exhibition: the elaborate, seemingly infinite, mirror maze.
