Experience the Beauty of Chapungu Sculpture Park

The world’s largest traveling exhibit of African stone sculpture, Chapungu Sculpture Park, is now at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden through May 31. The current exhibit — Custom and Legend, a Culture in Stone — includes more than 80 hand-carved sculptures by Zimbabwean artists including Agnes Nyanhongo, named one of the top five women sculptors in the world. Sculptures include animals, families, customs, social issues and legendary creatures and range from 3 feet to 10 feet and 600 pounds to 6,000 pounds.
