On Wednesday, Jan. 16th, at Adrienne Arsht Center’s Knight Concert Hall, South Florida Symphony’s Sebrina Maria Alfonso, Music Director, led the symphony’s 70 piece orchestra of George Gershwin’s folk opera and theatrical masterpiece-Porgy and Bess. This great American opera attained eloquent, heartfelt, genre-crossing heights at the Arsht.
